It was designed by Philippe Hiquily, and the copper seat was made by the family-run TPU metal workshop, which is based in the French town of Chelles and specialises in art and design objects, among other things. Messer in France has been supplying gases in cylinders and bundles for welding and cutting the objects for over ten years.
