
Cooling
Process description
After pasteurising the mix has a temperature of +80 °C to +90 °C. Before the next process step the temperature must be cooled to below +5 °C.
Messer solution
The products can be cooled with liquid gases, preferred gases being liquid nitrogen or liquid carbon dioxide.
Advantages:
- Lower energy costs
- Easy to integrate into existing plant
- Avoids ice and fog
- No condensation on pipelines
- Constant gas temperature
