Process description

To protect the coffee from undesirable environmental influences, it is packaged. Depending on the size of the facility, this process step will be automated or manual.

By packing under a modified atmosphere (MAP: Modified Atmosphere Packaging) food products are protected from unwanted environmental influences. When packaging coffee either carbon dioxide, nitrogen or a mixture of the two is used depending on the application.
