Practical training
We always offer the possibility to gather first work experience. Assignments are possible in the following departments: commercial management including IT, technology (production, application technology, logistic) and sales department. The length of the practical training depends on the commandments of the individual schools/colleges and the operative capacity.

International junior program
The Messer Group has installed an international trainee-program, which gives high potentials the possibility, in preparation for executive functions to gather first international experience.
Members of the trainee-program are college graduate with commercial and technical training.
Personal requirements are: good marks of examination, successful attendance of an aptitude test, multilingualism, mobility and management potential.
The training takes place in sales department as well as production/technology.
The length of the trainee-program amounts to 15 till 18 months, 12 months in the main focus sales department and production/technology, 6 months in the not main focus management and logistic. During the training the assignment takes place in 2 to 3 countries.

The assignment plan will be managed centrally by the Corporate Human Resources department.

After certification the trainees takeover functions in the associated company and will furthermore be promoted in the context of the Messer Group's management development.
