From 26 to 30 October, Messer will be exhibiting at “EuroBlech 2010” in Hanover, the world’s largest sheet metal working exhibition. The three Messer affiliates Messer Group, Messer Cutting Systems and MesserSoft will be sharing a stand with Jenoptik Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, a German specialist in laser material processing.
Visitors to the Messer Group stand will be offered expert advice as well as practical demonstrations of MAG welding of unalloyed steels and TIG welding of high-alloyed steels with new ternary mixtures.
The gas mixtures used for MAG welding feature a number of impressive properties, including very low splatter tendency and a very nice seam quality, which significantly reduces the need to rework the welds. Among other things, the new gas mixture for TIG welding facilitates high welding speeds in any welding position and reduces annealing colour.
In addition, Messer will be showcasing the MegaLas product line, specially developed for laser welding, as well as the Oxycut and Nitrocut products for laser cutting.
